According to Guardian UK, Elidje Ekra, a dermatologist at the Treichville university hospital in Abidjan said
“In our cultures, some people think women with light skin are the most beautiful. This Woman Has Only 10 Days Left Until Giving Birth. So Where Is Her Baby Bump?

Un-be-lievable.
A Plus is a media company dedicated to publishing stories that promote positive change in people's lives and in the world.

Welcoming a newborn into this world is a huge and exciting step in every parent's life. Picking a name, shopping for baby stuff...

... filling their room with adorable toys. And that's exactly what this mama-to-be did. But there was still something out of the ordinary about her pregnancy.

Yup, that's the physique of a woman who is 39 weeks pregnant.

Sarah Stage, a professional Elite model, became a viral sensation last month when the Internet discovered her svelte Instagrams.

Her toned abs and incredibly small baby bump got the entire online community wondering how it was possible (and if it was healthy).

This is Stage at 9 months and 37 weeks.

After facing criticism for her allegedly "too fit" body, Stage confirmed she and the baby are healthy.

Stage says she gained about 20 pounds, and, according to specialists, that's "exactly where she needs to be at this stage in her pregnancy."

"The fact that she looks skinny on Instagram does not mean her baby growth is restricted or too small. It has nothing to do [with] if you can see her muscles if her uterus is the perfect size and she has gained an amount of weight, that is acceptable," Dr. Jennifer Ashton told ABC News.

According to midwife sonographer Chrissie Hammonds, "there are plenty of reasons that a healthy baby may appear small."

"It could be that there isn't much fluid around your baby. This may make your bump appear smaller, even if your baby is the right size. The position your baby's lying in, and your own height, shape and tummy muscles can all affect the measurement too," Hammonds writes in her Babycentre Q&A column

Basically, a pregnant woman's body is between her and her doctor. No one else.

As for us, we just hope to see baby James and the happy mama working out together soon.

Ebola again???? SCARY!!!!!!

Dr. Ian Crozier who became ill and later survived
Ebola after working in an Ebola treatment ward in Sierra Leone as a volunteer for the World Health Organization is back to the hospital and Ebola Virus is said to be lurking in his eyes and turned it from blue to green color.

According to New York Times, Dr Ian was released from Emory University Hospital in October after a long, brutal fight with Ebola that nearly ended his life, his medical team thought he was cured. But less than two months later, he was back at the hospital with fading sight, intense pain and soaring pressure in his left eye.

So Dr. Steven Yeh, an ophthalmologist, pierced Dr. Crozier’s eye with a hair-thin needle, drew a few drops of fluid from its inner chamber and sent them to the lab. The results came as a shock.

Test results were chilling: The inside of Dr. Crozier’s eye was teeming with Ebola Virus that had replicated inside his eyes.

His doctors were amazed. They had considered the possibility that the virus had invaded his eye, but they had not really expected to find it because by the time he left Emory Hospital last October, his blood was Ebola-free.

Although the virus may persist in semen for months, other body fluids were thought to be clear of it once a patient recovered. Almost nothing was known about the ability of Ebola to lurk inside the eye.

Despite the infection within his eye, Dr. Crozier’s tears and the surface of his eye were virus-free, so he posed no risk to anyone who had casual contact with him.

8 year old boy smuggled in suitcase from Morocco to Spain

An eight-year-old boy, Abou, from Ivory Coast who was smuggled into Spain from Morocco in a suitcase has been caught on a Spanish civil guard border security checkpoint between Morocco and Spain's North African enclave of Ceuta on Thursday.

The boy was discovered after a suitcase carried by a 19-year-old lady arriving Ceuta, a Spanish enclave next to Morocco, was passed through the scanning machine.

When the Spanish police opened the case, they found the boy in a "terrible state", a spokesman for the Guardia Civil told AFP.

A Spanish newspaper, El Pais, reported that the 19-year-old is not related to the boy, and was paid by the boy's father who lives in the Canary Islands to carry the suitcase, hoping to be reunited with his son.

It was gathered that the boy's father, also named Abou, had travelled back to Ivory Coast to pick him up, having moved to Gran Canaria in 2013.

The father then reportedly paid the Moroccan courier to carry the suitcase.

"She seemed to hesitate, and it looked as though she didn't want to come through the border. At first we thought that there could be drug packages, but gradually discovered that it was a human body," a police spokesman said.

The boy's father travelled across the border an hour-and-a-half after his son and was immediately detained by border guards.

Very funny

A Miami man, Daniel Sion Palmer, 26, man was recently arrested after authorities say he robbed a man at gunpoint, took off running and returned moments later to complain that the stolen goods were fake.

The incident happened about 3 a.m. when Palmer allegedly pointed a gun at a man from New York, grabbed his gold chain and then took off.
Police say Palmer apparently was not satisfied with his freshly stolen jewelry, and so he approached the victim again a block away, just so he could tell him the jewelry was fake.

“That was a brazen move and because of that he was able to be apprehended,” Det. Ernesto Rodriguez said.

The victim was able to flag police down and point out Palmer, who was now driving a Mercedes. Investigators say he sped disregarding the police officers who had turned on their lights and sirens, he was eventually apprehended and arrested.

He has since been charged with armed robbery, fleeing and eluding, reckless driving and possession of a suspended license, police said.

Miss Zimbabwe and nude- ish

A year after her predecessor quit over a similar scandal, Miss Zimbabwe 2015 could be stripped of her crown over online photos that allegedly show her posing nude.

Pageant officials said they were investigating Emily Kachote, 25, who won the Miss Zimbabwe pageant on  April 26th, 2015 after the photos surfaced on the Web.

Miss Zimbabwe  Trust  spokesperson Tendai Chirau  recently said  they were  conducting investigations  into the  allegations,  but indicated  that if  the allegations  were proved  true, the queen  would be  dethroned.
“Regulation  5 for  Miss World  Zimbabwe Trust, which  conforms to  the  one stipulated  by Miss World, states  that professional or socially  in all forms  of media  posing nude, being in a relationship , sexual  advances towards  anyone and any behavior categorized  as immoral by Miss Zimbabwe Trust is grounds for instant disqualification and/or dethronement,” Chirau said.

“Delegates  must maintain  a high  standard of  moral and  ethical behavior  which in  no way reflects negatively  upon Miss World Zimbabwe and Miss World Trust.  All the 57 models who went into the boot camp signed a form with this information saying they had never done it.”

Chirau said when they conducted the auditions across the country’s provinces, the aspiring contestants were told not to participate in the pageant  if they  had ever  posed nude.

Kachote, who would compete at this year’s Miss World finals, told Zimbabwe’s H-Metro tabloid that she had suspected “these pictures” would emerge but “it happened a long time ago.”

She referred to a date with a man, saying, “We had some drinks, and I had no control over everything that happened that night. I no longer have anything to do with the guy.”
